Road freight transport grew 11.3% in turnover in 2022 in Portugal.

According to a study by the consultancy DBK, the Portuguese road freight transport market grew by 11.3%, in terms of turnover, in 2022 compared to 2021.
DBK estimates that, in 2022, the turnover of the sector in Portugal will have reached 3.45 billion euros, against the 3.1 billion recorded in 2021.

In 2021, advances the consultant, the Portuguese market will have grown by 9.5% year-on-year.
Although demand and business volume have grown, DBK in its study advances with a decrease in profitability, with the reduction of margins
pressured by rising operating costs, with fuel at the top.
