Unctad predicts growth in global maritime trade in 2023 from 2.1%.
Global maritime trade is expected to grow by 2.1% in 2023.
According to the UN Conference on Trade and Development, Unctad, global maritime trade in 2023 should register an average growth of 2.1%.
This rate will be the lowest when compared to the 3.3% registered in the last three decades.
The UN Agency also predicts that this average growth in maritime trade global holds until 2027.
Unctad projects a moderate evolution of 1.4% in 2022, after the recovery significant recorded in 2021, with 3.2% growth and total shipments of 11 billion tons.
